Since Monday night I have been down with food poisoning, yes it’s not been nice. But now I’m slowly recovering and in the meantime I just wanted to post some photos from this Sunday.

Sometimes I feel like jeans and a white shirt, though it doesn’t happen that often. But on Sunday when we were going for a picnic in the park and then for facials at the Spa I wanted to be as casual as I could be. I added some golden accessories as I love to do. The belt is a favorite from Anthropologie and the shoes are a couple of year old from Zara.

The jeans are chopped of just above the ankle. This is something I saw Garance wearing when I saw her in NY in february and which just looked so great. After that she blogged about it which you can read if you click the image below. I just adore her blog and her photography… and writing (not fair!!).

Do you remember this white skirt? Well, when I got it I had the idea of doing tie dye in blue all over it, and later when I saw these pictures (above) I got really inspired to do it kind of similar to that.

Now the problem is, I only know how to do the “normal” tie dye rings of white over blue. Is there anyone out there who’s a DIY star and can tell me how I get these thin lines, and most importantly – how do I get these big parts of white? I want it exactly like that! It looks amazing!!

I’ve lately had a thing for wearing turbans and head scarves, I think it’s just beautiful on women. I remember when Prada reintroduced the turban in 2007, I was not convinced at that time, but now… I just can’t stop looking at fab ladies in this glamorous style. Just look at these lovely photos below, aren’t they wonderful? You can wear it and match it in so many ways – we have the 40′s fancy lady turban, the indian boho-chic turban, the modern fashionista turban, the Frida Kahlo flower “turban”.

Think turbans are complicated? Doesn’t have to be. Just take a long scarve, begin at the back of your head and twist it on the forehead and tie it again in the neck! That’s my best advice!

I just love these warm, sunny shots by Brazilian Photographer Antonio Andrade. I love the simple bohemian tunic and the headband which I’m gonna try to make a version of myself! I can never get bored of this look I think!
