This is the second of my current accessories obsessions posts, and it’s simply a bunch of things in natural hues. As much as I love powerful colors in accessories I also love earthy colors in fall, it kind of goes with my mood. So these months ahead I’m planning on wearing this stuff a lot. The floppy hat I’ll wear with dresses like here, and those boots will be perfect with jeans. I think everyone should have a pair of cowboy boots in their wardrobe, you might not wanna wear them every day and with everything but styled right they’ll make your outfit really stand out! A new season is here, a chill is in the air even though the sun is still shining. Finally it’s cool enough to layer up in hats and scarves and to switch that neon manicure to a darker shade. I love how fall makes me wear more accessories, it’s just so much fun to play with. I though I’d show you what I’m currently loving from my own wardrobe, this is the first out of two posts (I’ll post the second one tomorrow). This first one is a tribute to my love of everything burgundy & blue. Isn’t it a great combination?

Lately I’ve been drawn to a certain shade of pink, and you should now I’m not a person who has a lot of pink in my wardrobe at all! But this shade, I call it berries with milk, is a kind of pale pink with a slightly blue undertone… Kind of like this shirt… I’m just fantasizing about this certain color, and that I feel the need to own at least something in this divine shade!

The color of this coat is even more perfect actually! I can’t get it out of my mind after I saw this pic!

A while back I talked about my obsession with glitter eye make up. Well, now I found this video where the Lancome make up guru Aaron de Mey go completely bananas with the glitter and sparkles! I love it!

… I wish I could look like this, like every day. This look has it all: layers, patterns, the hat, perfect sunglasses, perfect bag… well you get the point. I’m almost looking forward to be able to wear a sweat, jacker or a hat again after months of hot summer days (in Philly I haven’t worn jeans since april!). But now, when I’m still here at the airport waiting to take my flight home I realize that it is still 35 degrees C in Philly… so fall is nowhere near yet… Anyway, you can always get inspired and plan for what is to come!

There’s so many things to love about Sharne Scott’s style. She’s just got that 70′s hippie vibe. These photos captured by Streetstyle photographer Tommy Ton are just amazing. I tried to find out who this stylish girl is but all I found out was that she’s Australian and works as a brand & showroom manager.

Do you remember this white skirt? Well, when I got it I had the idea of doing tie dye in blue all over it, and later when I saw these pictures (above) I got really inspired to do it kind of similar to that.

Now the problem is, I only know how to do the “normal” tie dye rings of white over blue. Is there anyone out there who’s a DIY star and can tell me how I get these thin lines, and most importantly – how do I get these big parts of white? I want it exactly like that! It looks amazing!!

May I present my new companion from Mulberry, her name is Alexa. I totally spoiled myself and got it this weekend in NY. God, I could justify this new purchase in a hundred different ways but instead I’m just gonna confess: it was love at first sight. Alexa is a handbag inspired by classic men’s briefcases and it is the perfect size for fitting all your necessities (and a little more). I’ve been drooling over it for months!

The color is ink blue. I couldn’t imagine anything more perfect for me; it matches with my whole wardrobe.

Details. Quality. What can I say? This is something my future daughters can fight about : )

It seems to match perfectly with all my vintage dresses, it might be brand new but it looks like someone has worn it forever.

I’m in love with bright colors and prints, probably thanks to all the time I’ve spent in India. I saw these colorful goodies at Henri Bendel’s webshop and decided that I just have to drop by their flagship store in New York when I go there this weekend.

Pink and orange might be the best color combination there is! Would love one of these scarves.
