One of the things I love with traveling is discovering new hotels, both my husband and I have a thing for boutique hotels and we always try to make an effort to find cool places to stay. This time in New York we stayed at The Dream hotel in the Meatpacking district, and I have to say that I was really impressed by this little gem! The Dream is the latest addition to Vikram Chatwal Hotels and is an urban oasis were every single detail seems to be chosen with care. The rooms are small but compensates with the best bed I’ve ever slept in, and the open view over the rooftop of downtown Manhattan is magnificent.
We were heading out on Friday evening for dinner and a few drinks but ended up staying the entire evening at the hotel. What is the need to leave when The Dream is where everyone else wants to go? So, instead we ended up having a delicious seafood dinner at The Marble Lane and lounging in the silver chesterfield sofas with some bubbles before heading up to PH-D, the rooftop nightclub were we were met by a nice crowd, great music and a view that simply blew our minds!
All in all, I had a great time staying at The Dream and I think that The Standard has just got itself some competition…

The lobby, which turns into a busy lounge at night. See the roof – that’s the floor of the swimming pool!
Heated swimming pool. I’d love to come back here in the summer!
