Today, exactly one year ago, I was just about to board a 15 hour flight from New York to New Delhi to spend a month on my own in India, my dear India. For those of you who are new to this blog, you might not know this obsession and complete love that I have for this country that I’ve spend to much time in during the last 12 years of my life. This obsession is something I am never able to fully explain (well, I’m now trying to do so since I’m writing a book on the subject ; ) it simply goes beyond the beautiful culture, the colors and friendliness of its people… it’s just where I am the happiest, calmest and most satisfied version of myself.
So, for those of you who are new here I though I’d again post some of these photos that I took during my trip one year ago. Each and every one of them makes me smile and remember those beautiful days along the river Ganga.
If you want to see the rest of my photos and posts from this trip here they are:
Marigolds and Diyas (from the Diwali Festival)
Mother Ganga (photos from my dip in the river Ganga
I also made this little movie from my journey…
