Today I’m back in Philadelphia again after almost a week on Manhattan. I have a lot to share with you from the past week but I thought I’d start by showing you some photos from yesterday when we headed over to Brooklyn and Williamsburg.
One thing I love to do is to grab my morning coffee in Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo where you can sit in the sun waking up while watching the skyline of Manhattan. It’s something so beautiful and peaceful with watching this circus that is called Manhattan from afar, it’s like you could almost see it boiling with energy and creativity! So after waking up to this scenery in the early a.m. we went over to Williamsburg to do some serious damage to the vintage stores!
Williamsburg is my favorite spot in the world for vintage shopping. There’re so many great little gems over there!
By the way, how do you like my new cobalt blue fedora? I got it at Reiss the other day in West Village and I think I’m in love!
Since we didn’t have that much time I went straight to Beacon’s Closet and started my hunt.
There was so much pretty shoes for fall… but I was more focused on jackets and sweaters.
I got an amazing patchwork blouse and that Moschino jacket I’m holding in the photo above plus some other goodies!
I had to leave these babies behind : (
There’s one brunch spot I love more than all others in Williamsburg and that’s Ella Café. They’ve got the best freshly squeezed juices!
I was wearing H&M jeans, Zara blouse, Levi’s leather jacket and my new Reiss fedora. Finally it’s cool enough to wear layers!
Before we took off we visited some furniture shops, like A&G Merch that had this fantastic doll chandelier!
It was such a great day and the perfect end to a fun week in the city with my brother! We’ve had so much fun together and I’m gonna miss him so much now that he’s back in Sweden again. I promise to show you more from our week as soon as I recover from this mean cold that I’ve caught. I’m trying to kill it with ginger tea with lemon and honey as we speak…
