On Monday me and my brother went over to visit the Free People headquarters in the Navy Yard of Philadelphia. This place is just amazing – just entering one of these old industrial buildings and seeing with how much creativity they’ve reworked these spaces is just mind blowing! The raw industrial feel in contrast to the colorful indian fabrics is just such a great mix. We had lunch in the huge cafeteria before we headed over to take a look at the studio and wardrobe and chat with the lovely Free People gals.
Lauren, the FP creative director and my good friend gave us a small sneak peak of the coming catalogue which was just beyond beautiful! Her work is impressive! The visit sure brought back some memories, did you guys know that I actually used to work here (styling shoots) when I first came to Philadelphia? It’s really one of the most inspiring work environments I’ve ever experienced, I think the pictures can tell.
