These last few weeks in Sweden I have really lived out of my suitcase, and borrowed some clothes from my parents when in need. Sometimes it’s so relieving not to have a single thought about what to wear and just grab whatever is clean and next to the bed when you wake up. I have really had an amazing time here in Sweden, and most of it I’ve spent lounging out in the sun on a blanket without a thought about make up or wearing anything special. It is relaxing I have to say, but now after five weeks I’m starting to miss my wardrobe back home.
I miss waking up entering my dressing room picking out an outfit and some accessories of the day. I miss wearing anything else than cut offs and sandals, even though I know it will be much hotter back in Philadelphia than here. Still I miss my clothes and shoes that are patiently hanging there waiting for my return. I feel excited about going back to my normal style and to leave behind these lazy summer days of messy beach hair and tank tops. I am slowly bidding my farewells to the summer.
