This weekend has been very relaxing and nice, the weather has been fairly good after a week of clouds and rains so I can’t complain. Since my husband is in L.A this week I have had a lot of time on my hands. Aside from brunching and catching up with a friend on Saturday I have spent most of my time here in my little backyard, my urban oasis.
My Nag Champa incense from India have been burning non stop, it is a scent that makes me feel so at home and relaxed.
I picked some of our roses and put in a small creamer from Anthropology.
I made my own ice tea out of green tea with mango and some fresh mint (from the garden).
Brew, chill, pour over ice and drink – delicious!
I’ve spent countless hours out here with my (new!) iPad listening to Swedish podcasts while drinking my ice tea or a glass of Rioja. I love listening to swedish radio, for a moment I forget exactly where I am and I feel very close to home. Even though this is also of course home!
I’ve been feeding the birds (although this fellow didn’t seem to be hungry). Feel like such a senior saying this, ha ha…
I did a DIY-manicure with a new purple polish (I don’t bite from O.P.I) which might be a new favorite!
I came back from my Fri afternoon shopping spree with these colorful napkins (from Anthropologie) perfect for the summer season.
This is how my breakfasts looks like lately and it’s a good feeling knowing that I’ll have many more of these in the following four months.
How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?
