When I woke up this morning Philadelphia was all covered in white, the city looked so beautiful as the sun was shining. But between you and me, I hate the snow and cold! Growing up in Sweden I had an overdose of that and frankly I’m pretty happy that the days of this much snow that we get here in Philadelphia in winter can be counted on your two hands!
This jacket is probably one of my first ever vintage finds, it’s a ski jacket from the 70′s. I was 13 years old when I bought it in London. I wore it so much that it had to “rest” in a box in my parents attic for about 10 years! But now I have been looking forward to wearing it ever since I found it this summer!
The Moon Boot – designed in the early 1970′s by Tecnica of Giavera del Montello, Italy – are retro snow boots with a cartoonish feel to them. Around 10 years ago I had the exact same ones in red. Now I had a new crush on them and decided to get them in blue!
I’m wearing a vintage ski jacket, gloves gifted from my brother (Urban Outfitters I think?), trousers from COS and Tecnica Moon Boots.
