On our honeymoon, on the way from Polvano to Florence we past the city of Montevarchi, where the quite famous Prada Outlet is located. We just had to make a brief stop to check it out and I can tell you that I was in complete paradise with Prada and Miu Miu for drastically reduced prices! My husband stocked up on basic shirts in amazing quality from Prada…
…while I laid my hands on this gorgeous silk tunic from Miu Miu (spring collection 2008). I think I paid around 20% of the original price! What a bargain!
I will post pictures once I wear it, but it feels more like a fall/winter dress to me even though it’s from a spring collection so it still has to wait in the closet for a bit. I see myself styling it with a pair of dark purple stockings and high heels or simply a pair of jeans. I’ll definitely wear a red bow tie in my hair and dark red lips like Kirsten. So beautiful!
The spring 2008 collection from Miu Miu is one of those collections that has stayed on in my memory ever since I saw it the first time. The illustrations by Swedish illustrator Liselott Watkins are as beautiful as mysterious. The ad campaign, with one of my personal favourites Kirsten Dunst, just seemes like screen shots out of a David Lynch movie. It’s as theatrical as it gets! See the rest of the campaign below:
