As some of you know my husband is from Spain (well Basque Country actually). We speak english at home but I’d love to improve my spanish that was once quite decent. Well that was 10 years ago, long before I knew that it would be pretty useful for me one day. I honestly think it will be hard to refresh my spanish skills without living there, so that will be a project for the future.
But every time I go there, I pick up a few magazines like Vogue Espana and I try to read it and get into it. It usually ends with just looking at gorgeous pictures like these from Vogue Espana Aug 2010, (and adding a few fashion related words to my vocabulary). We’ll see how it goes this time. I’m arriving to Bilbao tonight and meeting up my husband (whom I haven’t seen for more than two weeks) and we’re gonna spend almost 10 days in Basque Country. Hopefully I can enjoy these last summer days at the same time as improving my spanish!
