Morgongåvan

The day after our wedding my husband gave me this incredibly beautiful handmade necklace as a gift. In Sweden we have this traditional concept of the groom gifting the bride something special on their first married day, it’s called morgongåva.

He had found a unique jewelry line called Satya Jewelry who is based in New York. The designer is of Indian origin and creates pieces with spiritual symbols, healing gemstones and sacred meanings. On my necklace was the Indian symbol of ॐ - a symbol that means so much to me and feels very good to have around my neck. It will bring me balance of my body and spirit.
