Three years ago my mom gave me a Shiseido lipstick in a pale orange color. I fell completely in love with the “almost there” color and I used it every day for years until it was completely finished (how often does that happen to you with lipsticks?). Now last weekend I was in New York with my mom and in search for a replacement. It had to be matte, I’m not a big fan of the high gloss, but not too matte so the lips look dry, and it had to be a pale orange color. At the Prada ss10 show we could see a lot of high gloss bright orange lips – I like it, but prefer a softer color for everyday use. Finally I found the perfect one at MAC – it’s a color called ravishing - how suitable, because the color was really ravishing!
I’ve used it every day the last week and I don’t know how many compliments I’ve got for it! It was kind of hard to snap it with my photobooth – it’s not a strong color, but I think you get the idea. So what do you think? Is it a keeper?
