It was really inspiring to be a part of the IFB conference on Monday in NYC. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a place with so many creative people gathered. I met stylists, illustrators, editors, designers, photographers and general fashion addicts that were all also bloggers. The panels were interesting and they’d gathered some big guns in the blogosphere like Bryanboy, Tavi, Susie Bubble, Phil Oh, Diane Pernet etc. Some really interesting topics were discussed and I’m gonna blog more about that in the following days, because it really deserves more space and time.
In between the panels we got the chance to mingle around and I met some really cool people. Like Dustin Pittman who worked as a photographer for W Magazine for 9 years and who apparently was a intimate at the Warhol Factory back in the days. I also got the chance to confess my admiration to Garance Doré and her blog Une Fille Comme Moi. She was at the cocktail party with her boyfriend Scott Schulman aka. The Sartorialist.
